The programs and apps that have been added manually can't be reset, only removed. The apps that Windows 11 lists by default can't be removed, but they can be reset if a custom setting was assigned to them. The remaining steps are identical once a program or app has been added. If the program or app is not listed, use the browse option on the page to add it manually to the page. Note that you may need to restart the app or program if it is running already. Some applications or programs may be limited in regards to the graphics adapter. The graphics processing unit is listed for each performance level individually this is useful on devices with onboard and dedicated graphics units, as you may use the preferences to switch between the graphics adapters. Switch the setting to the desired level and select the save button to save it.The Graphics Preference window lists three options:.If the program or app is listed already, activate it with a click and select the options button.The graphics preference setting for each is displayed in the listing. NOTE: Clicking the Restore Defaults link at the top of the page will restore all the defaults for the entire Manage 3D Settings page.The main idea behind the graphics preference feature is to adjust the performance dynamically based on the power level. To restore the default settings for a global preset (workstation products), select the global preset and then click the Restore button that is adjacent to the Global Presets list.

To restore the default global settings, click the Restore button on the bottom corner of the Global Settings tab. In the Settings box, click the setting corresponding to the feature that you want to change, then from the drop-down list click the setting value that you want to use. The Global Presets list does not appear for GeForce products.

If you have an NVIDIA Quadro product installed, then click the Global Presets list arrow and select one of the pre-installed global settings for workstation applications. The Global Settings tab allows you to assign global settings that will be applied to all 3D games. From the NVIDIA Control Panel navigation tree pane, under 3D Settings, select Manage 3D settings.
